Scheduling and the company
Who shows up if I request service?
Someone working for STCRON Garage Door We do not publish staff names or stock photos. The person should identify the company and the reason for the visit. Background on how we operate is on the about page.
Do you serve my city?
We schedule work in Texas. Offices are in Dallas and Fort Worth. The service areas page explains that split. Give the ZIP code when you contact us. Work outside Texas is not offered.
What are your hours?
Hours are Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, and Sunday closed. Ask when you call or email if you need a window outside those hours. Do not treat the emergency page as proof of overnight staffing.
How do I request service if the form does not send?
The form tells you, in plain language, that online delivery is not available yet. Call +1 (817) 392-6338 or email [email protected]. You should never see a fake “message sent” state.
Repair and emergencies
The door will not open. Where do I start?
Start with garage door repair unless the door is off the track, hanging crooked, or stuck in a way that feels unsafe. Those belong on emergency garage door repair. You do not need the part name to schedule a look.
I heard a bang and the door is heavy. What failed?
That pattern is usually a spring. Stop using the opener. Read spring repair. Do not try to wind or clamp the spring. If the door is open and will not stay up, treat it as an emergency.
The door looks crooked. Can I push it back into the track?
No. A door off the track can fall. Keep people clear and read cable, track, and roller repair along with the emergency page. Pushing it back in often tears the hinges off the sections.
The opener clicks and nothing happens. Is the motor dead?
Sometimes. Sometimes the door is locked, unbalanced, or the trolley is loose. Opener repair starts by checking whether the door moves by hand. A new motor on a broken spring is not a repair.
Will you give me a price over the phone?
We can tell you what usually changes a scope: door size, spring type, and whether the track or sections are damaged. A firm figure waits until the door is seen. The website does not list a universal repair price.
Installation, replacement, and panels
Should I repair the door or replace it?
Repair when a part failed and the door is otherwise sound. Replace when the sections, the track, or repeated structural damage are the problem. The comparison is on replacement. How the new door goes in is on installation.
Can you replace one dented panel?
Sometimes, if a section of the right size and profile exists. Color may not blend with a sun-faded door. If it will not match, a full door is the cleaner project. Details are on panel repair.
Do I need a new opener with a new door?
Not always. If the opener is tired or the new door is heavier, opener installation belongs in the same scope. We say which one applies after we see the unit.
How long is the garage unusable during installation?
A straightforward residential changeover is often one visit once the door is on hand. Damaged jambs, unusual headroom, or a special-order door take longer. We will tell you which situation you are in after measuring.
Maintenance, homes, and businesses
How often should a door be checked?
A door that cycles every day benefits from an annual look. A commercial bay that cycles all day may need a shorter interval. Nothing is broken yet? Use maintenance. Something already failed? Use repair.
Do you work on both houses and shops?
Yes. Houses are described on residential repair. Shops, docks, and warehouses are described on commercial services. Say which you have so the visit is planned for the right hardware.
Is a noisy door dangerous?
Noise alone is often rollers, hinges, or the opener’s drive. It can wait a short time if the door still tracks straight. A bang, a heavy feel, or a loose cable should not wait.
Can I lubricate the door myself?
A small amount of lubricant meant for garage door rollers and hinges is a normal household step. Do not grease the track into a slick mess, do not spray the opener’s electronics, and do not adjust springs. If you are unsure, wait for maintenance.
Where are warranties and licenses listed?
They are not listed, because we will not invent them. Any warranty that applies to a part is stated with that job. License numbers are published only when the company provides a real one to put on the site.
